Repeating Cupcakes: Its All About Pink!

Still playing around with the colours and the effects in the gradient map tool in photoshop, and bringing pink to the picture makes the cupcakes look so much more yummy & pretty. I really want to design wrapping paper with my repeating images, and even design my own stationary set.

My first outcomes of my repeating cupcakes! Top image was just seeing how the original looks when its repeated. Second image, I was playing around with the colours on photoshop, colours in the gradient map tool. I'm still learning how to use photoshop, its still very new to me but i am very please how the second image has turned out in the blue.

A page from my journal I did in the first year of uni, I drew & cut out a stencil of a cupcake which i then painted over with acrylic paints. I went around the outlines with a black fine liner pen, i'm going to be experimenting with this image in photoshop.

Experimenting around with my ginger cat illustration on photoshop, and here are 2 new colours I thought worked well. I really like how it shows all the detail of the cats very clearly.

I've found myself redesigning alot of the work I did this year at uni...only because I feel I have improved a hell of alot already! Just felt like it could be so much better, so here's one of the posters i have redesigned: A fundraising event poster, "Find The Designerds".
